The trailer looks amazing. How long is each of the five cycles? Is it just moving image or are there still images as well? I am DEFINATELY going to go to this.
each cycle is pretty much a full length movie. so seeing the entire thing would take a full day at least.
the exhibit at the guggenheim has the movies showing on a bunch of different screens, large prints of photographs from the cycles, and a bunch of the props and sculpture's that were used in the films. the sculptures really make it worth the visit.
i was shown the shortened in my art class, at secondary school. i am 14 years old and i found i was unable to watch this with other pupils as most tended to feel embarassed or thought it was rude and inappropriate.
